“Yolive” wins top innovation award in Anuga 2009

For one more year MEVGAL participated in the International Food and Beverages Fair, Anuga 2009. The dynamic presence of the company through a 55 sqm stand at a particular focal point was impressive, causing numerous visitors of the exhibition to seek to know the company and its rich product range.

The export activity of MEVGAL is approximately 12% of the company’s turnover and extends to 25 countries worldwide. The participation in Anuga 2009 had as a target once again to highlight the leading position in exports of Greek dairy products, conduct meetings and consultations with existing and new customers and finally to show its new innovative products.

Once again a general trend emerged and shift to healthy foods (organic, bio) and value added products (healthy and functional diet).

One of our new products, “Yolive”, won the award for "Top Innovation Anuga 2009”, which did not pass unnoticed by the international and Greek press, other exhibitors, our partners and visitors of the exhibition. The award reconfirmed MEVGAL’s leadership to create new innovative products has led to the achievement of new partnerships in countries where there was little presence.

Finally it should be noted that at the International Fair Anuga in Cologne there was the opportunity for the Exports department of Mevgal to consult and meet with several world-class companies in order to achieve new strategic partnerships. Also we had the ability to monitor and analyze the Greek and international competition.
